  • Will All-On-Four Implants Look and Feel Natural?

Dental implants are designed to look, feel, and function just like your natural teeth. Implants give you the confidence to smile, eat, and engage in social activities. Since dental implants attach to your jaw bone just like natural teeth, there is no longer a concern about shifting or movement as found with dentures or partials. Here at Dr. Grucella’s practice, the shape, color, and size of your teeth are specially made just for you by his on-site lab technicians.

  • How Does the All-On-Four Work?

The All-On-Four only uses four (4) dental implants per arch. The implants are placed at an angle engaging more of the patient’s bone. While most traditional implant procedures require bone grafting, the All-On-Four procedure does not for most patients.

  • What are the Advantages versus Traditional Implants?

There are many advantages with All-On-Four Dental Implants including, but not limited to:

    •  Creates beautiful, natural looking teeth in the same day, never going without teeth.

    •  Allows for the immediate placement of natural looking teeth which are fully functional, fixed, and with the look and feel of natural teeth.

    •  Easy to maintain.

    •  Over time will help to preserve jaw bone and reduce bone resorption.

    •  Enhances self-confidence with a smile you will love and enjoy eating your favorite foods.

  • How Do I Care for All-On-Four Implants?

Caring for your All-On-Four Dental Implants is easy. In fact, it is just like caring for natural teeth. Brush daily and visit the dentist for regularly scheduled cleanings and check-ups.

  • If My Teeth Are in Bad Shape Does That Mean I Can't Get Them?

No, often times a patient can feel overwhelmed or embarrassed by their teeth. The All-On-Four procedure can be just the answer to help get you back to a healthy, beautiful smile. Dr. Grucella is certified as a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantology since 2008. With his years of experience, Dr. Grucella has addressed even complex cases where patients have been turned away from others.

  • Is the Procedure Painful?

It is only natural to wonder what to anticipate about any surgical procedure. Dr. Grucella and his staff do everything to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Patients often tell us they experienced less discomfort then they expected. Dr. Grucella and his skilled staff are with you every step and want to keep you comfortable and relaxed. You will be provided complete home care instructions and pain management options that will be discussed and prescribed accordingly.

  • Is it True the Procedure Just Takes One Day?

Yes, our patients walk into our office in the morning and leave later that day with a bright new smile. The teeth that are first placed are temporary until you heal. Dr. Grucella will then schedule follow up appointments and once fully healed, the temporary teeth will be removed and replaced with your new permanent teeth.

  • Can I Bring Someone with Me During the Procedure?

Of course, we want you to bring a family member or a friend. By bringing a friend or family member, it offers you the support and added comfort before and after the procedure. Also, your family member or friend provides you with safe travels back to your home to relax. An added bonus, your family member or friend will be the first to see your new smile.

  • Does It Take Long to Recover from the Procedure?

Recovery periods differ from patient to patient. Since every patient is unique, most patients do not experience much discomfort other than swelling. During the initial healing period, you will be placed on a soft food diet for a few weeks to allow the implants to properly heal. Dr. Grucella will advise you once the initial healing period has completed.

  • Are All-On-Four Dental Implants Expensive? Are There Financing Options?

The cost of dental implants is much less expensive than even a few years ago. Due to the advancement of technology, the cost is less, though many patients prefer to finance the procedure. During your All-On-Four consultation, we can assist you to develop a financing strategy that best fits your budget.
