Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – FULL-TIME

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) who thrives in a practice environment where patient care and attention are paramount.
Dr. James George and Dr. Mark Grucella are looking for a full-time EFDA to join their practice team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual who both values and can provide patients with exceptional care and compassion.

The EFDA is an integral member of the practice responsible for delivering first rate patient care, attention, and education. She/he will provide the doctor with high quality assistance on patient procedures. They will ensure the effective, safe, and efficient flow of activity through the office. They will possess and demonstrate a team player mentality to ensure an open line of communication with both the clinical and administrative team.    
The EFDA will be based in the Akron area.

Front Desk Associate - Dental Practice - FULL-TIME

Company: Dr. Grucella & Dr. George’s Dental Office
Locations: Akron / Canton
• Provide patients with excellent attention and reception at each visit
• Patient relations with professionalism
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Dental insurance verification
• Submission of claims and patient billing
• Assist with processing of pre-determinations, treatment plan follow-up, and responding to patient inquiries received by phone.  
• Possess experience working in a dental or medical practice with a demonstrated understanding of codes and insurance confirmation 
• Affinity for patient care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates the ability to build relationships, both internally and with patients
• Effectively address patient concerns with a positive attitude
