Digital Dentures

Digital Dentures Are The Latest Technology

Throughout our extensive history designing and fabricating dentures for our patients in the greater Akron and Canton area, we have continually invested in talent, technology, equipment, and materials that enable us to evolve and stay cutting-edge so we can deliver quality, consistency, reliability, and efficiency. This allows us to provide our patients with a level of service, quality, price, and warranty that is hard to beat. In short, we believe we offer the best quality denture at the best price and it's why we invite anyone who is considering a new or replacement denture to take our QV Denture Challenge!

With all our experience, we understand how to embrace and utilize a unique blend of both science and art to create quality dentures that look natural, feel comfortable, and allow someone who wears a denture to eat, drink, and speak confidently. The more we can refine the science and the art of denture creation, the more attractive, comfortable, and functional dentures become. That’s exactly what our digital denture technology does.

Many Advantages, Options and Choices

The investments we have made in digital denture technology offer our patients many advantages, options and choices, which is extremely useful when it comes to matching individual needs and budget. It also significantly reduces the amount of time required to create a denture. In a matter of minutes, non-invasive 3D scanners accurately capture a digital impression of a patient’s mouth. This data is instantly fed into computer software where we can interactively and digitally design a denture. This provides us with the ability to display a full-color, computer-generated, three-dimensional, real-time image of what the denture will look like both inside and outside of the a patient’s mouth.

Once the computer-generated design of the denture is finalized, it can be either printed using our 3D printer or fabricated with our robotic milling equipment using high-strength durable resin materials. Regardless of the method used to create the denture, both types of fabrication can be done quickly - within the course of a normal business day.

Here's a list of the many advantages, options, and choices offered by digital dentures:

  • Require minimal visits to our office during the design and fabrication process.
  • Computer-generated renderings allow our patients to easily visualize and discuss the final appearance and make real-time modifications.
  • Short period of time needed to design and fabricate a denture.
  • Better fit, comfort, function, and appearance.
  • Quick replacement of a lost or damaged denture.

Long Term Comfort, Function, and Durability

A denture is a long term investment, but when it comes to choosing a denture, it's easy to get overly focused on the short term. It's important to consider what daily life will be like for the many years to come once you receive your new denture. The features and conveniences afforded by a digital denture can make future daily life with your denture much easier and enjoyable. The precision and accuracy that comes from the advanced technology in both design and production improves long term fit, comfort, and function. It also reduces the need for future adjustments and alterations. Durability of the denture is yet another essential consideration. Because of the high-strength resin materials used in the digital denture production process, the probability that the denture will break is minimal.
